State seeks bids to dredge Susitna Landing boat ramp by May 15

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game is accepting quotes from contractors to dredge the boat launch ramp at Susitna Landing. Quotes are due by 2:00 p.m. on May 15, 2026.

The project would clear sediment from the launch ramp to maintain access for boats using the Susitna River landing. The department issued the request for quotes on May 6.

Susitna Landing sits along the Susitna River in Southcentral Alaska, providing boat access for anglers and other river users. Sediment buildup at launch ramps can make it difficult or impossible to launch boats, particularly during low water.
