The Alaska Department of Fish and Game is accepting bids from contractors to provide high-throughput whole genome sequencing services. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. April 30.

The department uses genome sequencing to identify species, track genetic diversity in fish and wildlife populations, and support research on Alaska's natural resources. The contract would provide laboratory services for processing biological samples collected statewide.
