The Alaska Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development is accepting offers to purchase a repossessed commercial fishing vessel.

The Division of Investments conducts vessel sales on a continuing basis through its website. Interested buyers can view details about available vessels and submit purchase offers online.

The state repossesses fishing vessels when loan agreements default. These sales allow the state to recover funds from commercial fishing loan programs while giving buyers access to vessels that might otherwise sit unused.

The division maintains a current list of all vessels available for purchase on its website. Sale information updates regularly as new vessels become available or existing vessels sell.

Prospective buyers can view vessel specifications, submit offers, and find instructions for the purchase process at commerce.alaska.gov/web/inv/AssetsforSale/VesselsforSaleAll.
