The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development is holding four public meetings this summer to gather input on medical fees paid under the state's workers' compensation system. The meetings will help shape medical fee schedules for 2027.

The Medical Services Review Committee will meet May 28, June 26, July 17, and August 7, all from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Public comment will be accepted from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at each meeting.

The first three meetings will be held online only via Zoom. The August 7 meeting will offer both in-person participation at 3301 Eagle Street, Room 208 in Anchorage, and online access.

The committee reviews the appropriateness, necessity, and cost of medical services provided under Alaska's Workers' Compensation Act. Their recommendations will influence what doctors, hospitals, and other medical providers can charge for treating work-related injuries.
