The State Vocational Rehabilitation Committee is accepting public testimony through May 11 on Alaska's job placement services for people with disabilities.

The committee wants feedback on how well the state's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation helps disabled Alaskans find and keep employment. The input will be used alongside satisfaction surveys to evaluate program effectiveness.

The committee will hold its quarterly meeting May 12-14 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day via teleconference. Public testimony will be heard May 12 from 1:30 to 2 p.m.

People can participate by emailing testimony to [email protected] by 5 p.m. on May 11, calling in during the testimony period, or mailing written comments to SVRC Chairperson, PO Box 115516, Juneau, AK 99811-5516.
