The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is accepting public comments through May 16 on a proposed business permit for Royal Hyway Tours Inc. at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

The permit would allow the tour company to operate a reception desk and baggage storage area in three spaces totaling 284 square feet in the South Terminal from May 10 through September 17. The annual rent rate is $131.64 per square foot.

Royal Hyway Tours would use Room S1853, a 253-square-foot space, along with two smaller rooms for baggage storage. The permit covers the peak summer tourism season.

The public can review the full application during business hours at the airport leasing office in the South Terminal at 5000 W. International Airport Road. Comments or competing applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on May 16.
