The Alaska Statewide Suicide Prevention Council will hold a public meeting on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom.

The quarterly meeting is part of the council's ongoing work on suicide prevention across Alaska. Under state law, all council meetings must be open to the public, and community members are encouraged to participate.

Public comments and questions will go through the meeting chair. The council asks that comments be thoughtful and constructive, focusing on policy issues rather than personal criticism of individuals.
