The Alaska Commission on Judicial Conduct will hold its quarterly meeting April 24 in Anchorage, with public participation available via Zoom starting at 9:30 a.m.

The public session will cover the commission's budget, educational activities, advisory opinions and administrative matters. It will not address specific complaints against judges. A closed session following the public portion will address confidential complaints and is not open to the public.

Alaskans who want to speak during the meeting must notify commission staff by 4 p.m. April 23. Speakers get three minutes each during a 30-minute period reserved at the end of the public session. Comments must relate to public matters within the commission's authority and cannot concern specific complaints or repeat prior comments.

The commission will post a draft agenda and materials packet about two weeks before the meeting. Audio recordings and copies of public session materials can be requested after the meeting.
