I'd like to call the Senate Finance Department of Law Subcommittee to order. Let the record reflect that it is 5:49— 5:50 PM. I'm joined today by Senator Myers and Chair Senator Olson and myself, Scott Kawasaki. We do have a quorum to conduct the business. Today's business includes budget closeout.
Legislative Finance is available for questions. Kelly Good, staff to Senator Olson, will go over the changes. Thank you, Senator Kawasaki. For the record, Kelly Good, staff to Senator Olson. The Senate Finance Budget Subcommittee for the Department of Law submits the following FY27 numbers and recommendations.
For funds, unrestricted general funds, $89,668,000. Designated general funds, $3,142,000.
Other funds, $43,842,000. Federal funds, $2,568,000, for a total of $139,222,000. There are 601 permanent full-time employees. The subcommittee accepted the department's requests in both the criminal and civil divisions. There are no organizational structure change.
And that ends the report. Great, thank you, Ms. Goode. Are there any questions? Okay, hearing and seeing none, I move the FY27 operating budget for the Department of Law from subcommittee with the attached legislative finance budget action sheet and wordage reports dated 4/15/26. I also move to give the legislative finance division the ability to make any technical or conforming changes.
Are there any objections?
Great. Um, let's see, that concludes the meeting today, and then we are adjourned at 4— sorry, 5:51.
