Today's agenda— though I'd like to thank Chloe Miller for being here with the Legislative Information Office. Today's agenda, we have a budget closeout for the department.

The Senate Finance Budget Subcommittee for the Department of Public Safety submits the following FY27 numbers and recommendations. For funding, unrestricted general funds, $287,118,000. Designated general funds, $9,984,000. Other funds, $16,604,000. Federal funds, $41,352,000.

For a total of $357,059,000. There are 1,009 part-time— I mean, full-time employees, 11 part-time, 38 temporary, for a total of 1,058. The subcommittee made the following recommendations.

They denied the funding source change for $592,000 to the Violent Crimes Compensation Board. Reduce the House addition to the Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault by 50%, which is to $600,000. They reduce the House add to the Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault legal services by 50% to $250,000. There are no structural changes, and this ends the report.
