The Alaska Broadband Office is accepting proposals through May 22, 2026, for a professional engineer to verify that broadband grant recipients are building networks as promised.

The contractor will review project reports from companies receiving state broadband grants and check their progress against approved network designs. The state will not consider cost when evaluating proposals.

Proposals must arrive by 5 p.m. Alaska time on May 22, 2026. Late submissions will be rejected.

A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on May 11, 2026, via Microsoft Teams. If no one registers by that deadline, the conference will be canceled.
