The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute will hold a public meeting May 7 to discuss its international marketing activities, with virtual attendance open to all Alaskans.

The International Marketing Committee meets from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Alaska time. A draft agenda and meeting link are available on the institute's website.

The institute promotes Alaska seafood in overseas markets with substantial support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The committee oversees marketing strategies in international markets where Alaska competes with seafood from other regions.
