Alaska's Legislative Budget and Audit Committee voted Wednesday to release the state's FY25 Single Audit after a 53-minute closed-door session.

The committee approved the release by unanimous consent. The Single Audit is an annual federal requirement that examines how Alaska uses federal funds and manages its finances.

The committee entered executive session at 5:18 p.m. and returned to public session at 6:11 p.m. Members present included Representatives Fields, Foster, Josephson, Kopp, and Colon, along with Senators Giesel, Wielechowski, and Gray Jackson.

Vice Chair Fields moved to release the FY25 State of Alaska Single Audit as a final audit report. The chair announced no objection, and the audit was released.

The committee discussed the audit under rules that protect matters that could adversely affect government finances.

The audit is now available through the Division of Legislative Audit.
