The Alaska Board of Nursing will hold its regular meeting May 6-8, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. each day via Zoom teleconference.

The three-day meeting will cover routine board business for the state agency that licenses and regulates nurses in Alaska. The board oversees nursing education, licensing requirements, and disciplinary actions for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants across the state.

The Board of Nursing typically meets three times per year to review licensing applications, discuss regulatory changes, and address disciplinary matters. Board members include practicing nurses, nurse educators, and public members appointed by the governor.
